Placements24 seeks a highly motivated Mechanical Systems Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, analyze, and integrate complex mechanical systems, leveraging CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA) and FEA tools (ANSYS, COMSOL) to drive reliable product performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in mechanical systems design, analysis and integration.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software and simulation tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Strong understanding of system dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer and materials science.
• Remote collaboration and self-driven work style required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components using advanced CAD software.
• Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses using FEA and other tools.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and product managers in a remote setting.
• Create and maintain design specs, test plans, and manufacturing instructions.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation; drive design iterations.
