Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Demonstrated proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo) and FEA simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to design challenges.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
• A dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet access.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intricate mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD software.
• Conduct engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration simulations (FEA).
• Create detailed technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a virtual setting.
• Participate in remote design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Research and recommend new materials, components, and technologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, processes, and tools for remote workflows.
• Manage assigned projects or tasks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
