Placements24 is seeking a Remote Mechanical Design Engineer to conceptualize, design, and test mechanical systems for industrial machinery. You will work with a distributed engineering team, delivering robust designs and detailed documentation from a remote setup.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and at least 6 years of progressive design experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor or CATIA, and CAE/FEA tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA).
• Experience designing complex industrial mechanical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design mechanical components and systems from concept to production using CAD.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Conduct stress, thermal and vibration analyses to validate designs.
• Collaborate with remote cross-functional teams via virtual platforms.
• Generate and maintain BOMs and technical documentation.
• Support manufacturing with remote guidance and problem-solving.
