Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to their special projects division. This role focuses on developing innovative mechanical solutions with remote collaboration and advanced digital design workflows.

You will work autonomously and as part of a distributed team on concept to implementation, leveraging 3D CAD (Siemens NX, Creo) and simulation tools, while staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
10+ years of experience in mechanical design for complex systems.
Proficient in CAD (Siemens NX, Creo) and advanced simulations (FEA, CFD).
Strong self-management and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of novel mechanical systems using 3D modeling.
Validate designs via simulations and virtual testing.
Prepare detailed design specs, analyses, and manufacturing instructions.
Collaborate with dispersed team members and external partners.
Stay ahead of technologies and trends to propose innovative concepts.
Oversee remote integration and testing of prototypes.
