The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years in machine design, and expert CAD skills (SolidWorks, Inventor).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years in machine design, preferably with custom or automation equipment.
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor) and related simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, actuators, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion control.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and detail complex machinery and automated systems using CAD.
- Develop mechanical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
- Conduct design reviews with manufacturing, controls, and PM teams.
- Perform stress analysis and kinematic simulations to validate designs.
- Troubleshoot design issues during fabrication and commissioning.
- Research new technologies to optimize performance and cost.
