Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Marketing Analyst for a fully remote role supporting clients in Randburg and surrounding areas. You will interpret marketing data, build dashboards, and deliver insights to optimize campaigns and business strategies.

The ideal candidate has a strong analytics background, proficiency in Excel, SQL, R, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with experience in web analytics and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, SQL, R, Python).
• Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and channels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate data into insights.
• Remote work experience and collaboration with distributed teams is a plus, especially with Randburg clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze marketing campaign data from multiple sources to measure effectiveness and ROI.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing KPIs.
• Identify trends and insights to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market dynamics.
• Perform segmentation analysis to understand customer behavior and inform targeting.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to define objectives, KPIs, and measurement frameworks.
• Use data visualization tools to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations to optimize marketing spend and channel allocation.
