Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in manufacturing systems to drive efficiency across production facilities. This fully remote role lets you apply process design, automation, and system integration from anywhere, analyzing operations and implementing solutions for productivity, quality, and safety.

You’ll work with diverse teams to optimize layouts, reduce cycle times, and ensure successful adoption of improvements while maintaining SOPs and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering with focus on manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in process analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Experience with automation technologies, robotics, and MES.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and remote project management skills.
• Excellent virtual communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment utilization to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Design and implement optimized manufacturing layouts and systems to enhance throughput and reduce cycle times.
• Evaluate and recommend automation technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual labor.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate virtually with plant managers, engineers, and production staff to implement process changes.
• Monitor manufacturing performance using KPIs and data analysis, driving continuous improvement.
