Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer Specialist to join a globally distributed team. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing production systems, and driving lean improvements across facilities by leveraging advanced analytics from your home office.

You will design and analyze manufacturing processes, model performance with Arena or AnyLogic, and implement scalable improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering, with focus on process optimization and system design.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (Arena, AnyLogic) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing complex improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows for global operations.
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, waste elimination, and productivity improvement.
• Utilize simulation software and data analytics to model and predict process performance.
• Create detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate virtually with site teams, management, and other stakeholders to drive implementation of improvements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in industrial engineering.
