Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical remote Process Optimization Specialist to join a distributed team in manufacturing. The role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, developing data-driven strategies, and implementing improvements to boost productivity, cut costs, and maintain quality.

You will work with site managers, engineers, and production teams worldwide, using MES/ERP familiarity, lean/Six Sigma, and tools like Minitab, R, and Python.

Qualifications

• Experience in process/industrial engineering in manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
• Proficiency with process mapping tools and statistical software.
• Understanding Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes and data to identify improvements and cost savings.
• Develop data-driven strategies for optimization and quality.
• Design and monitor new workflows using digital tools.
