Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive efficiency and quality improvements across its operations. This fully remote role lets you optimize manufacturing processes from anywhere while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment.

You will analyze current methods, identify bottlenecks, develop and test new processes, and document SOPs. Strong Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, data analysis skills, and CAD familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer with Lean/Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Develop, test, and implement new or improved processes and technologies.
• Create and maintain process documentation (SOPs, flowcharts, work instructions).
• Use data analysis tools to track performance and identify trends.
• Collaborate remotely with R&D, production and QA to integrate improvements.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry advances to propose innovative solutions.
