Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join a distributed team. You will monitor and analyze manufacturing performance across sites to enable data-driven decisions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will develop dashboards for KPIs like OEE, yield, and cycle time, and collaborate virtually with site managers to drive operational improvements. A strong analytics background and understanding of Lean principles are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (OR, IE, analytics) is required.
• 4+ years in manufacturing analysis or operations research, ideally remote.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends and issues.
• Develop dashboards and reports tracking KPIs like OEE, yield, cycle time.
• Provide data-driven insights to operations leadership on efficiency and costs.
• Support implementation of operational improvements with analytics.
• Collaborate virtually with site teams to understand data nuances.
• Stay updated on manufacturing analytics and continuous improvement practices.
