Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. You will analyze complex logistics data, develop actionable insights, and support strategic decisions from a fully remote setting.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, build dashboards, forecast demand, optimize inventory, and identify cost-saving opportunities using advanced analytical tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a logistics or supply chain analysis role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced functions, VBA), SQL, and preferably Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to logistics operations, transportation, and inventory management.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Model different scenarios to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve delivery networks.
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to implement data-driven strategies and solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
