Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Paralegal specializing in Litigation Support for a fully remote role. You will assist attorneys from case assessment to trial preparation, manage case files, and coordinate with clients and court personnel.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Certificate in Paralegal Studies, 3+ years of litigation experience, and proficiency with LexisNexis, Westlaw, and e-discovery tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in paralegal studies or equivalent legal qualification.
• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on litigation.
• Strong research skills using major legal databases (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and e-discovery tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in managing caseloads and organizing case files.
• Conduct legal research using online databases and library resources.
• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and discovery requests.
• Prepare exhibits and other trial materials.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and Bates stamping.
• Schedule depositions and hearings; coordinate with court personnel.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with post-trial filings and administrative tasks.
• Perform general administrative duties to support the legal team.
• Ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.
