Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal for our litigation team based in Klerksdorp. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility to support case preparation, evidence management, and client communication.

You will assist attorneys, organize files, conduct legal research, and draft pleadings and subpoenas, while managing deadlines and calendar court dates. Requirements include a paralegal qualification or equivalent, at least 3 years’ litigation support

Qualifications

• Paralegal qualification or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting litigation matters.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Organize and manage case files, evidence, and discovery materials.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.
• Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as directed.
• Manage deadlines and calendar court dates and filing requirements.
