Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Solidity Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts powering a DeFi ecosystem, and mentor junior engineers.

You will define technical standards, drive architecture, review code, and stay ahead of Solidity and DeFi security trends. The role offers autonomy, global collaboration, and opportunities to influence protocol adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on blockchain and Solidity smart contract development.
• Demonstrated experience in a lead or senior engineering role.
• Deep expertise in Solidity and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Solidity smart contracts.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of smart contract developers.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and security protocols for smart contract development.
• Architect and implement complex smart contract logic for DeFi applications (lending, borrowing, yield farming).
• Conduct thorough code reviews, security audits, and vulnerability assessments.
