Placements24's client, a rapidly growing DeFi innovator, is hiring a Lead Blockchain Engineer to steer the technical direction of scalable smart contract platforms in a remote-first team.

You will design, build, and maintain secure blockchain applications, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product teams while staying ahead of DeFi trends. Proficiency in Solidity, Truffle/Hardhat, and backend languages is required for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Extensive experience with smart contract development using Solidity and frameworks like Truffle or Hardhat.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of smart contracts and dApps.
• Architect scalable, secure blockchain solutions and set technical standards.
• Mentor a team of blockchain engineers and drive best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement features.
• Write high-quality, secure code in Solidity, Go, or Rust.
• Oversee code reviews and security protocols.
