Placements24 seeks a Lead Industrial Design Engineer to spearhead new product development in a fully remote role. You will lead ideation through detailed design, mentoring designers and engineers while aligning with brand and manufacturing constraints.

You should have 8+ years in industrial design or related fields, a strong portfolio, and expert 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360), plus UX understanding and remote collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial design with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in 3D CAD software and rendering tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the industrial design process from concept to final design.
• Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models for product concepts.
• Mentor designers and engineers and ensure designs meet feasibility and cost targets.
• Maintain design documentation, CAD files, drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and product teams.
