Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Civil Design Engineer to head the structural design division on a fully remote basis. You will guide a remote team, set design standards and ensure technical integrity for bridges, facilities and high-rise projects worldwide.

The role demands a Master’s in Structural/Civil Engineering, a PE license, 10+ years of experience (3+ in a leadership role) and fluency with SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and Revit.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a strong structural focus.
• PE license or equivalent international registration.
• 10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience, with 3+ years in lead/supervisory roles.
• Experience with major structural software and international design codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a remote team of structural and civil engineers.
• Develop and implement advanced structural design concepts for complex projects.
• Oversee design from concept to construction documentation with international code compliance.
• Conduct advanced structural analysis including finite element analysis.
• Review and approve calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and other disciplines.
• Manage design schedules, resources and quality control for deliverables.
• Drive innovation in design and materials while ensuring safety and sustainability.
• Participate in remote project meetings, reviews, and client presentations.
