Placements24 is seeking a remote Civil Design Engineer with a focus on structural design to join a globally distributed team. You will design, analyze, and document structural components for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with international codes and client specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive structural experience and proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure.

Qualifications

• An engineering degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• PE certification or international equivalent is a strong asset.
• At least 5 years of progressive structural design and analysis experience.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software: SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro.
• Strong CAD/BIM skills: AutoCAD and Revit Structure.
• Familiarity with international codes and remote collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities.
• Develop detailed drawings, calculations, and specs using industry software.
• Ensure designs comply with Eurocodes, AISC, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with remote project teams via digital platforms.
• Conduct design reviews and QA checks for accuracy.
• Prepare technical reports and submittals for client approval.
• Stay updated on new materials and design methodologies.
• Provide remote technical support to construction teams.
• Manage assigned design tasks and meet schedules.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
