Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in bioinformatics research and analysis with leadership experience.
• Extensive expertise in analyzing omics datasets (NGS, microarray, mass spectrometry).
• Proficiency in Python, R and shell scripting.
• Experience with bioinformatics databases, tools, and workflow systems (Galaxy, Snakemake).
• Strong statistical modeling, ML, and data visualization knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication for remote collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and distributed teams.
• Publish research in high-impact journals.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of bioinformatics pipelines for large-scale omics datasets.
• Develop and apply advanced statistical and ML methods for biological data analysis.
• Oversee interpretation of complex data and generate actionable insights.
