Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Lead Backend Developer to spearhead the design, development, and scaling of our next-generation platform. You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and drive high-performance backend systems using Python and Django in a fully remote environment.

You will lead API development, ensure security and quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions while promoting clean code and modern engineering practices across

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Proven leadership/mentoring experience with engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of database design and management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL).
• Experience designing/consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong emphasis on testing, security, and code quality.
• Excellent remote communication and leadership abilities.
