Placements24 is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Python and Django to join a fully remote, globally distributed SaaS team. You will design and maintain server-side logic, databases, and robust RESTful APIs powering scalable products for thousands of users worldwide.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in backend development, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with async programming, testing, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend experience.
• Strong Python and Django skills.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Relational databases knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with asynchronous task queues (Celery).
• CI/CD, Git, and testing frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
