Job summary

Satāya, a growing FinTech FSP, is hiring a Junior Sales Developer. The role is fully remote in South Africa, with the goal of building pipeline and securing first meetings with businesses and finance decision-makers.

You will start by opening doors, using phone, email, and LinkedIn, with performance bonuses and a clear path to lead client conversations. Matric is essential; prior sales experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Matric essential; a tertiary qualification is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Fluent English with confident written and spoken communication.
• Quick to pick up new systems; working knowledge of Excel is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Identify businesses with regular international payment needs and qualify them as prospects.
• Secure first meetings through cold approaches by phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Use your own professional and personal network to start early conversations.
• Build relationships with accountants, advisers and other intermediaries who can introduce new clients.
• Arrange introductory meetings with potential referral partners and keep them engaged over time.
• Plan your own outreach campaigns by sector, region or business size, and refine them based on results.
• Keep accurate records of activity, conversion and pipeline using the company’s systems and spreadsheets.
