Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote IT Infrastructure Technician to join their dispersed technical support team. You will maintain and troubleshoot the company's network infrastructure and IT systems for employees working from various locations.

This role focuses on remote diagnostics, installation and maintenance of digital assets, cloud services, and ensuring security and reliability of our IT environment from a home office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT support with a remote focus.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP and security principles.
• Experience with Windows, macOS and Linux and common office apps.
• Familiar with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and wired connections.
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for end-users, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor network performance and security, implementing solutions to prevent outages and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and update technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures for IT infrastructure.
