Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote IT Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain robust IT systems across servers, networks, and cloud environments. In this fully remote role, you will monitor performance, enforce security best practices, and provide technical guidance to internal teams while optimizing for reliability and cost efficiency.

You should have strong experience with Windows and Linux servers, VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization, and AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, plus VPNs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or similar roles in a remote capacity.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and server OSs (Windows Server, Linux).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Solid understanding of IT security best practices and data protection principles.
