Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Network Infrastructure Technician to join a distributed engineering team. You will remotely monitor, configure, and maintain network devices across data centers and cloud environments, ensuring uptime and performance.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and VPNs, plus experience with Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto hardware. CCNA/CCNP certifications are desirable for this remote position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and support with a strong emphasis on remote management.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and network security principles.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-level networking hardware from Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto Networks.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) and VPNs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities
