Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Helpdesk Support Analyst for a fully remote role supporting employees across departments. You will provide Tier 1 and 2 support, troubleshoot desktop hardware and software, and maintain documentation in the knowledge base.

Work from home with a Yes remote policy; you will interact with teams remotely, manage tickets, and ensure security and uptime of IT infrastructure. Prior experience with AD and remote tools is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in IT helpdesk or technical support.
Solid knowledge of Windows and macOS, and Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and hardware troubleshooting.
Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
Excellent diagnostic and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via remote tools, phone, and email.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, printers, and network connectivity.
Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory and other systems.
Respond to tickets promptly and document resolutions.
Set up new employee workstations and mobile devices.
Perform routine system maintenance and security updates.
Contribute to IT knowledge base and documentation.
Troubleshoot basic network issues and escalate where needed.
