Placements24 is seeking an Internal Auditor specializing in finance for a 100% remote role across South Africa. You will assess internal control environments, test financial processes, and ensure regulatory compliance from your home office, with responsibilities spanning governance and risk management.

Ideal candidates have 4-6 years in internal or external audit, strong COSO knowledge, and proficiency with audit software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIA, CISA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a relevant financial role.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and audit software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects concurrently.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and objectivity.
• Experience in a remote work environment is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan, execute, and report on financial, operational, and compliance audits.
• Assess internal control systems to identify potential risks and control deficiencies.
