Placements24 is seeking a Lead Insurance Product Developer to drive the design, development, and launch of new insurance products in a fully remote role. You will lead a cross-functional team across actuarial, underwriting, marketing, and legal to deliver innovative solutions.

The role demands market analysis expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership to manage the product lifecycle from ideation to go-to-market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Actuarial Science, or related field; MBA or relevant Master's preferred.
• 7+ years in insurance product development, management, or related strategy role.
• Proven track record of launching new insurance products.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead ideation, design and development of new insurance products.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with actuarial teams to develop pricing models and projections.
• Ensure product adherence to regulations with legal/compliance teams.
• Develop product specs, policy wordings, and marketing materials.
• Manage product launch, coordinating with sales and operations teams.
• Monitor post-launch performance and implement improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and stay updated on industry trends.
