Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Remote Insurance Product Development Manager to lead the ideation, design, and launch of new insurance products. This fully remote role drives product strategy and execution from your home office, coordinating market research, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration with actuarial, legal, marketing, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• An MBA or relevant Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in insurance product development, management, or related strategic role.
• Proven success launching insurance products or major enhancements.
• Strong knowledge of insurance markets and competitive landscape.
• Excellent market research, analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch for new insurance products.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate with actuarial, legal, marketing, and sales teams for feasibility and pricing.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and business objectives are met.
• Develop product specifications, features, and benefits.
• Create compelling positioning and go-to-market plans.
• Manage cross-functional teams and milestones.
• Monitor post-launch performance and iterate as needed.
