Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative Remote Insurance Product Developer to lead the creation and enhancement of insurance products across various markets. This fully remote role requires market insight, analytical prowess, and creative thinking to design offerings meeting evolving customer needs and regulatory demands.

You will collaborate with actuarial, sales, marketing, and compliance teams to bring new products to life, influence product strategy, and ensure profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Significant experience in insurance product development, management, or a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a remote setting.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Research market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new insurance products.
• Design and develop innovative insurance products, defining features, coverage, pricing structures, and policy wording.
• Collaborate closely with actuarial teams to ensure product profitability and risk adequacy.
• Work with legal and compliance departments to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and support materials for sales and marketing teams.
• Monitor the performance of existing products and recommend adjustments or enhancements.
