Placements24 is seeking a remote Insurance Product Development Specialist to lead end-to-end product ideation, design, and launch for a globally distributed team.

You will research market trends, define requirements, and build business cases with underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and technology partners to deliver market-leading insurance solutions. Strong remote collaboration and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field required.
• Master's degree or professional designation is a strong advantage.
• 5–7 years of product management or product development experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Proven ability to develop and launch successful new products in a complex market.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• A passion for innovation and a customer-centric approach to product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for new insurance products and enhancements.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and unmet customer needs.
• Define product requirements, features, and specifications in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop business cases and financial models to support product proposals.
• Work closely with underwriting and actuarial teams to ensure product feasibility and profitability.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product launch plans.
• Monitor product performance post-launch, gathering feedback for future iterations and improvements.
• Ensure product compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry innovations, technological advancements, and emerging market trends.
• Champion the product vision and effectively communicate product strategy to all levels of the organization.
