Placements24 is seeking an adept Instrumentation Engineer with a focus on Process Control to join our client’s team, serving the Port Elizabeth region remotely. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in instrumentation and process control.
- Experience with sensors, transmitters, and analytical instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, select, and specify instrumentation for process control applications.
- Develop instrument loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and installation details.
- Configure PLCs and DCS for optimal process performance.
- Develop calibration procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with process engineers and maintenance to support plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
