Placements24 in East London is seeking a qualified Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our client’s team. The role balances remote analysis with on-site support, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems to optimise industrial processes.

You will program PLCs, configure HMIs, calibrate instruments, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control.
• Proficiency with PLCs and SCADA/HMI software.
• Strong understanding of process control loops, sensors, and actuators.
• Experience with hazardous area classifications is a plus.
