Job summary
Placements24 is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join the team in a fully remote capacity, designing, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated automation systems across varied industrial applications. You will work with a remote team, using PLCs, SCADA, and HMI software, and you should have strong knowledge of PID tuning and industrial protocols such as Modbus and Profibus.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of instrumentation and control system design/implementation.
- Proficiency with Siemens and Rockwell PLC platforms and HMI/SCADA software.
- Strong understanding of PID tuning and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and SCADA systems.
- Select instrumentation, sensors, and control hardware for processes.
- Implement and commission control systems; integrate with plant infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance remotely; coordinate with on-site personnel.
