Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Industrial Automation Engineer to join our innovative team. You will design, develop, and implement automated control systems for manufacturing and industrial processes, working with on-site teams and international clients from anywhere.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in industrial automation, proficiency with PLC/Siemens/Allen-Bradley, HMIs, robotics, and SCADA, plus strong remote communication and project management skills to drive performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
Proficiency in programming PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI software.
Experience with robotics integration and industrial communication protocols.
Strong understanding of SCADA systems and data acquisition.
Excellent remote communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs for industrial automation systems.
Develop and implement robotics solutions to enhance production efficiency and safety.
Integrate automation components, sensors, and control systems.
Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for deployed automation solutions.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project requirements and scope.
Document automation system designs, configurations, and operating procedures.
