You will drive the organization's information security strategy, manage a security team, and coordinate incident responses while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with business goals.

The role demands a proactive leader with 7+ years in information security, CISSP/CISM certifications, and a track record of enterprise-wide security strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in information security management.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing enterprise-wide security strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and mentor the information security team, fostering a culture of security excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee risk management processes, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks.
• Manage the security operations center (SOC) functions and ensure effective threat detection and response.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., POPIA, GDPR).
• Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align security objectives with business goals.
