Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead a comprehensive security program remotely. You will align security strategy with business goals, oversee policy development, risk management, and incident response, and guide a distributed team.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's in Cybersecurity or IT, 7+ years in information security management, and relevant certifications (CISSP/CISM/CRISC). Strong leadership and knowledge of NIST/ISO 27001 are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent extensive experience.
• 7+ years of experience in information security management with a proven track record.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience managing security operations, incident response, and risk management.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Experience managing remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security program and strategy.
• Oversee the creation and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead the risk management process including identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Manage the security incident response team and processes for timely resolution.
• Direct the implementation and operation of security technologies and controls.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage the information security budget and resources.
• Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices.
