Placements24 seeks a highly analytical and self-motivated Remote Industrial Systems Analyst to support operations with a focus on projects originating from the Paarl region, but not restricted to it.

You will evaluate and optimize complex industrial systems through data analysis and modeling, delivering data-driven recommendations for efficiency, cost reductions and quality improvements on a global remote team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial systems analysis, modeling, and simulation.
• Proficiency in R or Python and related libraries.
• Experience with modeling and simulation.
• Strong communication for remote work.
• Knowledge of industrial processes and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from industrial operations to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Develop mathematical models and simulations to predict system performance and test potential solutions.
• Provide detailed reports and actionable recommendations to management regarding system optimization strategies.
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of existing industrial processes and technologies.
• Collaborate with remote engineering and operations teams to gather data and implement recommendations.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in industrial systems analysis.
