Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Operations Engineer to support industrial operations from a fully remote position near Randburg. You will analyze operational data, design optimized workflows, and implement improvements that boost productivity and cut costs.

You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, have at least 5 years in operations engineering or process improvement, and be proficient with Lean, Six Sigma, Excel, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in operations engineering, process improvement, or industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote analysis of production and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Design, develop, and document optimized workflows, process maps, and standard operating procedures.
• Utilize simulation and modeling software to test and validate proposed process changes.
• Develop and implement KPIs to measure operational efficiency and track progress.
• Collaborate with virtual cross-functional teams including operations, quality, and IT.
• Provide remote technical expertise and support for ongoing improvement projects.
