Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Industrial Operations Analyst to join a globally distributed team. You will analyze and optimize industrial operations using data-driven insights, develop KPIs, and present findings to management.

This role emphasizes independent work in a fully remote environment. You will collaborate with engineers and operations teams to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and implement process improvements while staying current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations analysis or similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and interpret operational data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track performance against goals.
• Conduct root cause analysis and propose data-backed solutions and preventative measures.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management with findings and projections.
• Collaborate remotely with operations teams, engineers and management to implement improvements.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in industrial engineering.
