Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer to join its distributed operations team, supporting facilities across multiple locations from a home office. You will drive efficiency through data analytics, simulation tools, and lean principles, designing improvements for manufacturing and operational systems.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, 5+ years of experience in process optimization, and strong skills in Arena, AnyLogic, Excel and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering and process optimization.
• Strong ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage projects.
• Proficiency with simulation software Arena/AnyLogic and data tools like Excel/Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic process improvements for manufacturing and facilities using remote tools.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and cost savings.
• Design and model optimized workflows, plant layouts, and material handling with simulations.
• Collaborate with on-site teams via virtual channels to gather requirements and support implementations.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies in industrial engineering and ops excellence.
