Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a fully remote support team serving Vereeniging-area clients. You will provide expert remote guidance, diagnose complex machinery, and minimize downtime from your home office.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus experience with PLCs and diagnostic software, enabling effective remote troubleshooting and client coaching.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with remote diagnostics and PLCs.
• Excellent remote troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and guidance for industrial machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues remotely.
• Guide on-site personnel through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Review logs and performance data to identify trends.
