Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer specializing in Quality Systems and Process Improvement for a fully remote role in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will oversee QMS implementation, drive CAPA programs, and collaborate with on-site teams to enhance yield and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in industrial engineering focusing on quality systems, SPC, and lean methods, with strong data analysis and training abilities.

Qualifikationen

• Experience implementing ISO 9001 or similar QMS in manufacturing.
• Strong SPC, Six Sigma and Lean principles.
• Proven RCA skills (5 Whys, Fishbone) and CAPA management.
• Proficient with Minitab and MS Office.
• Ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS aligned with ISO 9001 and related standards.
• Use SPC to monitor and control production processes for consistent quality.
• Lead root cause analyses and CAPA to address defects.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver training on quality standards to production staff.
• Conduct internal audits of processes and systems for compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to integrate quality in new designs.
• Improve yield, reduce scrap, and boost efficiency.
• Prepare reports on performance, improvements, and audit findings.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
