Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Industrial Engineer to optimize our clients' production processes near Paarl in the Western Cape. You will analyze bottlenecks, design efficient layouts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives from a remote setting while collaborating with on-site teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, at least 4 years of experience, and strong skills in data analysis, statistics, and lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or process improvement.
• Strong data analysis, statistics, and simulation software proficiency.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes for bottlenecks using lean principles.
• Design and implement new production systems and workflows to optimize throughput.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and analyze data trends.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain to implement changes.
• Create process documentation and SOPs.
