Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in Automation and Robotics. The role focuses on identifying automation opportunities, designing robotic systems, and implementing advanced manufacturing solutions to boost efficiency, safety, and precision in production environments.

You will program and configure industrial robots (FANUC, KUKA, ABB), develop simulations and virtual commissioning, and collaborate with global teams to integrate automation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with automation/robotics specialization.
• 7+ years in industrial engineering focusing on automation/robotics/advanced manufacturing systems.
• Experience with industrial robot programming (FANUC/KUKA/ABB) and PLC programming.
• CAD/CAM software proficiency for automation design and simulation.
• Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, and mechatronics.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.
• This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated systems and robotic work cells.
• Program and configure industrial robots and associated control systems.
