Job summary

Placements24 seeks a motivated Remote Social Inclusion Facilitator to champion diversity and inclusion across the organization, with a focus on Mahikeng, North West. The role is fully remote, enabling impact from anywhere while connecting with communities locally.

The successful candidate will develop strategies, run virtual workshops, and collaborate with HR to embed inclusive practices. Strong facilitation, advocacy for social justice, and virtual teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field.
• Proven experience in diversity and inclusion or community development.
• Strong understanding of inclusion principles, equity and social justice.
• Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Passion for creating equitable and welcoming environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to promote social inclusion and diversity.
• Facilitate virtual workshops, training sessions, and discussions on inclusion topics.
• Collaborate with HR and management to embed inclusive practices into organizational policies and procedures.
• Support employee resource groups and affinity networks.
• Conduct research and provide insights on best practices in diversity and inclusion.
• Develop communication plans to raise awareness and promote inclusive behaviors.
• Act as a point of contact for employees seeking guidance on inclusion-related matters.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives.
• Engage with community organizations remotely to extend impact.
• Champion a culture of respect, equity, and belonging across the organization and community.
