Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Social Inclusion Coordinator for Mahikeng to develop and implement strategies that promote equality, diversity, and the active participation of all community members, especially marginalized groups.

You will collaborate with local NGOs, government bodies, and community leaders to create accessible opportunities and foster a welcoming environment, driving meaningful social change across the North West province.

Qualifications

• Experience in community development or social work focused on inclusion.
• Proven ability to engage diverse populations and facilitate group discussions.
• Strong understanding of social justice, human rights, inclusion.
• Excellent communication, networking, and organizational skills.
• Passion for promoting equality and community empowerment.
• Familiarity with the North West region social dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute programs to enhance social inclusion for diverse communities.
• Facilitate workshops, dialogues, and community events to encourage participation.
• Build and maintain relationships with NGOs, community groups, and government officials.
• Advocate for policies that support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Mahikeng area.
• Provide support and resources to individuals facing barriers to participation.
• Monitor impact and report progress, challenges, and recommendations.
