Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to run the full payroll cycle remotely for a Paarl-based business. You will ensure compliance with SA legislation, handle payroll queries, and maintain data accuracy across VIP/Sage/PaySpace.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years SA payroll experience, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with HR and Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll administration experience in South Africa.
• Strong knowledge of SA payroll legislation (BCEA, LRA, PAYE).
• Excellent data management and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Administer and process the full payroll cycle accurately for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with SA payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Manage employee data, new hires, terminations and changes in payroll systems.
• Process statutory payments (UIF, SDL, PAYE) on time and accurately.
• Respond to payroll queries with clear explanations and resolutions.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain data integrity.
