Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing and related HR functions for employees in Soweto and surrounding areas. The role ensures accurate and timely payroll, handles remuneration queries, maintains records, and supports benefits administration within a dynamic organization.

This hybrid role offers a balanced work schedule and opportunities to liaise with the finance team on payroll integrity and compliance with SA tax and labor laws.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of payroll processing and HR administration experience.
• Knowledge of SA payroll regulations and tax laws (PAYE, UIF, SDL) and BCEA.
• Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees.
• Manage remuneration queries, adjustments, and deductions.
• Maintain payroll records and generate payroll reports.
• Assist with benefits administration (leave, medical aid, pension funds).
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding payroll and HR matters.
